I was quite happy when I heard from Mum that she was given some movie tickets by some company. It was for the new Bond movie, Casino Royale on the premiere night, which was last Thursday. Damn syok wei. On that day, it was a day full of frustration. Apparently Jusco decided they should have a Members' Day SALEs, so you can actually imagine what Mid Valley was like because I heard from Dad, only Jusco Mid Valley and Jusco somewhere in Johor had this sales and it actually started as early as 7 in the morning. I was still sleeping soundly in my comfortable and warm blanket while those aunties-aunties all lined up with their what-to-buy lists at 7.00 AM. According to Dad, it was really jammed in the morning and cars were heading to Mid Valley from all direction. He then added it was an insane idea as it just added to more traffic problems and noise pollution.
Okay, my point is, we could not drive to Mid Valley at night because even at night, it was still very jammed. So, we had to take KTM instead from KL Sentral. Taking KTM is not fun, especially at 8 something, when people are all rushing home. It was stuffy and warm in the train. But, we had no choice. Instead of heading towards the cinema, Mum bought Sis a classical guitar as promised. Then we went to the cinema. There were so many people and most of them were still wearing their working attire.
But still, the movie is quite good. Daniel Craig who acted as James Bond in this movie, gives the movie a brand new start. James Bond no longer is the perfect and invisible guy who relies on Q's ingenious gadgets everytime he needs to escape from dangers, this time around he shows vulnerabilities as a human being and depends on his physical ability and sharp mind to sort things out. He looks more rugged and manly in Casino Royale, almost like a spy. To cut things short, Daniel Craig did a good job. Throughout the movie, I could not take my eyes off... no, not Daniel Craig, but Eva Green. She was so hot in that movie and you can actually melt by looking at her. Vesper Lynd is my favourite Bond girl, just watch the movie and you will know why. Besides Vesper, Theresa Bond in On Her Majesty's Secret Service is another of my favourite. I should stop here or else I can't resist writing the synopsis of the movie.
If you are planning to watch the movie, hope you have a great time. If you are not, well, I can do nothing but to tell you that it's a movie worth watching. Still, it's your choice. =)
